An Elluminate treatment is a fractional ablative resurfacing treatment that erases skin’s browns and reds and stimulates deeper-down collagen to reduce fine lines and improve skins texture.

By stimulating collagen regrowth, Laser Genesis effectively reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tightens pores, reduces oil production, improves overall tone and texture on the skin, gets rid of sun damage and helps to diminish any redness on the skin. It works by gently heating the dermis, which is located below the skin’s surface. Patients often find the treatment very soothing, as there is zero discomfort involved.

The procedure uses a focused beam of light to target the spider vein without damaging nearby tissue. The laser heats and destroys the spider vein and it disappears over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. This treatment can be done anywhere on the body.

TREATMENT INFO

  • Drink ample water, to keep your skin hydrated.
  • Discontinue use of tanning beds 1 week before and after treatment.
  • Limit sun exposure 1 week before and after treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol and cigarettes 24-48 hours prior to treatment.
  • If you develop a cold sore or rash prior to your appointment you must reschedule.

  • Avoid sun exposure for 1 week and always wear sunscreen.
  • Discontinue use of tanning beds 1 week post-treatment.
