CANCELLATION POLICY
Appointments may be canceled through the Jane online electronic medical record/booking system, by calling the office, or texting the office. If the call or text falls outside of business hours the time and date received will be honored. Cancellation of appointments via social media direct message will not be an acceptable means of communicating cancellations.
- If appointments are cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, there is no charge.
- If cancellations are made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a non-refundable fee of $150, or the cost of your scheduled treatment, whichever is less.
We will make every effort (social media posts and our waitlist) in the attempt to fill your cancelled appointment space. If we are unable to fill your cancelled appointment, we will unfortunately have to charge the cancellation fee per our policy.
At time of booking it is required that we place a credit card on file for our cancellation/no show policy. We will never charge your card outside of this policy without your written consent or authorization. We do not require a down payment or deposit on any services. If you have a complimentary consultation booked we will only charge your card in the event of a no call/no show.
We do ask that you do not come to your appointment ill, as we take our provider and client health and wellness very seriously. We will give grace with ill calls to protect our treatment providers on the first occurrence. Should there be a pattern, or a second occurrence, and we are unable to fill the appointment space, we reserve the right to charge your card on file per our cancellation policy.
Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or text the client care coordinator line at (253) 432-6097.
For all scheduling, billing, and general information, please call or text the office line at (253) 432-6097 or email at info@lissemedspa.com. Please utilize the website to schedule, reschedule, and cancel. We do acknowledge this can be confusing at times and please call, text or email if there are any issues with this at all. We are always happy to help.

- A private, discreet exit is available at both the Gig Harbor and University Place clinics
CHILDREN/MINORS AS GUESTS POLICY
We kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements prior to your appointment time. This is not only for the safety of your children, but also the safety of our staff and to ensure they are able to perform the whole scope of your treatment without distractions. We are considered a medical facility and have devices and equipment that are not safe or conducive to children in the treatment areas or waiting areas. We are unable to accommodate unsupervised children in the waiting room during your treatments.
TREATMENT OF MINOR CLIENTS WITH GUARDIAN CONSENT
With appropriate medical supervision by our medical director(s) and guardian consent for treatment, we do consider treating patients under the age of 18 years old. We do not perform any cosmetic aesthetic treatments on minors. All treatment of minors will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to refuse any treatment request if, after evaluation, the procedure is deemed inappropriate, unnecessary, or unsafe for the minor. The decision of the attending medical professional will be final.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Patient and team member safety is of the utmost importance to us. We will follow the local school district closure and/or late start recommendations. For our Gig Harbor, WA clinic we will use the Peninsula School District as our guide and for the University Place, WA clinic we will use the University Place School District as our guide. For example: if schools close the clinic will close. If the schools start two hours late, the clinic will open when the elementary school in the district opens. We recognize some of you travel quite far to see us and if at any point you feel uncomfortable or feel it is unsafe to drive in please just give us as much notice as possible in hopes we can move someone from the wait list to your appointment time that day. There will be no cancellation fee for any weather cancellations or reschedules.
MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT POLICY
The Lissè Platinum membership, The Lissè Diamond membership, and the Lissè Stock the Tox membership all require a 12-month contractual commitment. When signing up for a membership, the patient may choose a monthly auto withdrawal option, or a one-time payment in full.
Financing is available for the one-time payment option via Cherry, CareCredit and/or Affirm. There is not a financing option for the monthly auto withdrawal. If a patient chooses an “add on” or wants to “upgrade” to a laser service, the patient will be responsible for the difference in price on the date of service performed.
While it is not authorized to save or stack treatments in the same month, we can apply two months’ of installment payments toward one laser treatment with prior authorization from your Master Aesthetician.
The monthly payment option will be made from the designated card on file unless otherwise notified. Cancellation of the auto withdrawal is not permitted without providing an alternate payment source prior. A signed 12-month contract stating the patient will not dispute payment with any credit card company or bank, and agrees to a binding 12-month contract upon starting the membership is required. There are no refunds for services provided unless approved by management in an extenuating circumstance (illness, emergency, scheduling issues on our part). The services paid for each month do not roll over to the next month and cannot be banked in the patient account.
Any unused services will not be refunded. Unused services can be applied toward a single laser treatment, but this must be authorized prior by your master aesthetician. The monthly membership will auto-renew after 12 consecutive months unless the patient submits a request for the membership to be terminated via email or in person.
The extensive discounts and benefits in the membership program for all injectables and skin and laser treatments make this a sought-after program. The Lissè Membership program is highly sought after because of the significant discounts and exclusive benefits provided. As a result, membership availability is limited and subject to quarterly assessments of our Master Aesthetician’s availability. By signing up for a Lissè Membership, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above. Should you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact us.
GFE POLICY
A Good Faith Exam (also known as a “GFE”) is a medical examination conducted to establish a patient-provider relationship, verify the necessity of treatment, and comply with regulatory requirements set forth by the Washington administrative codes and regulatory compliance standards (ref: WAC 246-919-605 and WAC 246-918-125).
Any patient receiving a medical treatment from a Registered Nurse or Master Aesthetician at LISSÈ Medical Aesthetics must have a Good Faith Examination (GFE) completed and documented in order to receive the treatment. The definition of a medical treatment is any treatment that requires an MD/DO/PA-C/ARNP license to prescribe the medication, product, or device (all treatments other than the Essential Facial and/or wax treatment at Lissè require a GFE.
Per the guidelines set forth in WAC 246-919-606 the GFE should be scheduled prior to their first medical treatment. Then annually thereafter and with any change of condition (example: pregnancy, new medical diagnosis, new medication, post operatively). This is a complimentary examination and will be completed either virtually or in person by our on site Physician Assistant and/or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
COMPLICATION MANAGEMENT FROM OUTSIDE FACILITY
It is not uncommon for Lissè to be a first call for complication management from an outside clinic due to our extensive knowledge and our onsite licensed medical provider(s). Unfortunately, complications do happen even in the most skilled clinics, but unfortunately not all clinics are prepared to manage them.
From a legal/medical standpoint, to engage in the medical management of a patient who is in need of emergent intervention a consent, contract, and retainer fee of $2,000 will be applied to the patient’s chart prior to Lissè engaging in their care.
We always encourage patients to re-engage with their original medical provider and allow them an opportunity to remedy the situation prior to assuming the care of the patient. If re-engaging is not a viable solution/option and/or said clinic is not able to provide emergent care to the patient, Lissè is happy to engage and assume care of the patient after consent, contract agreement, and retainer is collected.
